Bio
Yuchen Lu is a graduate researcher in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at Rice University. She defended her Ph.D. thesis, “Probabilistic Analysis of Nonstationary Hydroclimate Extremes,” on July 15, 2026. Yuchen completed a BS at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China and a MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. She is interested in infrastructure adaptation in the face of climate change.
